  Yes. Every Studio Ania rug is handwoven in Morocco by skilled artisans using traditional weaving techniques passed down through generations. Because each piece is made by hand, slight variations in texture, pattern and dimensions are part of its beauty and authenticity.

• Where are your rugs made?

  Studio Ania rugs are handcrafted in Morocco by master artisans across the Middle Atlas Mountains, one of the country's most celebrated weaving regions. Our collections are primarily woven in and around M'rirt, a region internationally recognized for its exceptional wool quality and refined craftsmanship. We also collaborate with selected artisan communities throughout the Middle Atlas, where weaving traditions have been passed down through generations. Each piece is created slowly, by hand, preserving the authenticity, artistry and cultural heritage that make Moroccan rugs so unique.

• What materials do you use?

  We work primarily with: 100% natural Moroccan wool; Premium M'rirt wool; Natural dyes when applicable. Our focus is on quality, durability and timeless design.

• How do I choose the right rug size?

  Choosing the right size is essential to creating a balanced interior. As a general guideline — Living Room: 200 x 300 cm for medium spaces, 250 x 350 cm for larger rooms, front legs of furniture should sit on the rug. Bedroom: the rug should extend beyond the sides of the bed, large rugs create a more luxurious feel. If you need assistance, our team can help you select the ideal dimensions for your space.

• Can I order a custom rug?

  Absolutely. We offer a bespoke service allowing you to personalize: Dimensions, Colors, Patterns, Texture. Each custom project is crafted exclusively for you. Contact us to discuss your vision.

• How long does production take?

  Production times vary depending on the size and complexity of the design. Typically: ready-to-ship rugs dispatched within a few business days; custom rugs approximately 8 to 12 weeks. We will always provide an estimated timeline before production begins.

  Custom Rugs: Each custom rug is woven entirely by hand and made specifically for you. Estimated production time: 8–12 weeks. Once completed, your rug will be shipped according to the delivery estimates above. We will provide updates throughout the production process and notify you as soon as your rug is ready to leave our workshop.

  Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number allowing you to follow your shipment every step of the way.

• Customs & Import Duties

  International orders may be subject to customs duties, VAT or import taxes imposed by your local authorities. These charges are not included in the purchase price and remain the responsibility of the customer.

• How should I care for my rug?

  To preserve its beauty: vacuum regularly using low suction to remove dust and debris. Rotate your rug every few months to ensure even wear. For spills, blot immediately with a clean, dry cloth—never rub. For deeper cleaning, we recommend professional rug cleaning services experienced with natural wool fibers.
